Board Meeting Minutes

May 21, 2005

9 AM in the Lodge

 

There was a Quorum Present:  Peter Puckett, Bob Ervin, Lianne Birkhold, Bob Boughton, Lynn Glocker - Condley and Vince Mirrione.

Absent:  Kevin Lawrence, Bill & Jill Holstein

 

Special Guest – Diane Cord came to promote the “Adopt a Creek Program” – which will be having an event to celebrate creeks.  She is looking for volunteers from this area to help on Sunday July 17th at 9:00 AM  (meet at The Two Rivers)…followed at 1 pm by music concert.  Concert open to the Public.

 

Catherine Brown is just sitting in today (prospective board member)

 

Approval of Minutes – MSP (1st Bob, 2nd  Lynn) All approved.

 

Financial Report – Bob Ervin

MSP to approve report (1st Lianne, 2nd Vince) All Approved.

 

Correspondence – Lianne

Letters mailed to Lots 580U, 581C, 218C

MSP to forgive interest if Lot 66C comes through with a pay-off by Oct. 1st 2005. (1st Lianne, 2nd Bob E.) All approved.

 

Old Business

  1. Beautification –  548C, 525C, Lot 580U discussed.
  2. Maintenance shed – Planning is looking at it now, Tuff Shed holding deposit.
  3. LMP reunion Report – Calendar is on the website, wrist bands are in, Geri will use leftovers for Day Pass people.
  4. Tree Policy – Tabled

 

Director Reports

Lake – Dam was inspected, some work needs doing.  Report on file in Office.

Questions about Rodent control at the Dam, and stocking fish.  These questions will be referred to Jill.

 

Landscaping – Path approved, Sand ordered to extend beach. New retaining wall to be made, reusing the old lumber from the lanai.  Old equipment shed door recycled to back kitchen door.  Tree-trimming bid approved for the trees on the beach.  Marilyn will be planting in the barrels.  Motion MSP to approve the spending of $300 towards barrels and plants and soil. (1st by Bob E., 2nd by Lianne) All approved

 

 

 

Recreation

Rec Staff having orientation today…Jana is giving the Insurance class required.  They are also setting up the new equipment office.  The new double door is on; shuffleboard court is going to be painted on workday.  Everett will be getting the paint.  The Lake will open on June 12th.

 

New Business

Annexation discussed at great length…no consensus, add to June Agenda.
