Board Meeting Minutes

June 18, 2005

Lodge Conference Room, 9 A M

 

Board Present:

Peter Puckett, Bill and Jill Holstein, Bob Boughton, Lynn Glocker-Condley, Vince Mirrone, Bob & Lianne Ervin.Absent:  Kevin Lawrence

 

Meeting called to order 9 am.

Treasurer’s Report – Approved as presented (sent I & E Report Totals)

Motion made by Bill and 2nd by Lianne.  All Approved.

Collection letters mailed out.

Correspondence - Letter from the Hunters, Verbal regarding 548C windows are now getting broken.

Old Business

  1. Beautification – 581C seems to be in a constant state of flux,  Lot 525C a letter needs to go out.(Lianne to do)
  2. Bob Ervin has done all the things required for the County to make a decision, he will keep checking on the status.
  3. Reunion – 55 registered to date.  Everything moving forward.  Lynn is checking into use of a jukebox.
  4. Annexation discussion  - Lot at the end of the dam to be researched.  Board will continue doing research and take action as  soon as enough facts are in place.
  5. Security – Will check and see if Mondays need to be covered.

New Business

1.         Front Yard and Barrel landscaping  - Marilyn Vigars to work on on this with Catherine Brown, Jill Holstein and Vince Mirrone…they will report in July.

2.         Holsteins will be doing the 4th BBQ on the 2nd

3.         Bob Ervin to purchase and set up new sound system.

4.         Geri Hill to have a Safety meeting with Jana, Everett, and Linda this month.

5.         New Bulletin boards have arrived and will be put up.

6.         Ramp done…Rail to be repaired as per Smith builder.

7.         Trees on the beach were not pruned this year.

8.         Lodge Use Brochure

Director’s reports

1.        Lake – Dam Inspection- report in office – rodents are still a problem.

Left drain pipe covered with rock and stopped up.  The Water is still flowing in and the lake is now being tested.  Tests are fine.

2.        V. P Report - The Reserve Study is still pending.  Lot 51U is approved for construction.

3.        President – Dinner was discussed.  It will take place on the Saturday evening of Labor Day Weekend.  Sept. 3rd.  Hill and Ervin will work on  specifics.
