Hi Lynn:
Thanks for the Thank you . I have a long way
to become awesome. I had forgotten how much I enjoy painting. This project was
so much fun and a nice challenge for I had not painted for almost four years.
You know , the old over fifty osteoarthritis bug! It renewed my spirit
to start canvas work. I have not forgotten about the canvas for the lodge.
John and I will be up on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend . I hope to see you
then. You did such a fabulous job. You amaze me with all of your talents at
sleuthing, organization, delegation and most of all your enormously generous
heart. Bask in the glory!

Lynn,
I spent most of last week trying to come up
with the right words to express my feelings, and basically gave up and went
with this. I guess I really should explain my feelings about what? The
reunion, of course. I believe it was Winston Churchill that said something
to the effect of, Never have so many. owed so much to, to so few. Has it
dawned on you yet as to how much happiness you have brought to so many. All
you had to do is look around at all of the smiling faces, and listen to the
laughter. You should be very, very, proud of a job well done! Not bad for
not being able to come up with just the right words.

Hey Lynn,
Thank you so much for getting us all together.
It meant so much to me. When I laughed with old friends, lost at "hearts,"
talked way into the night, swam across the lake and sat on the beach, it was
easy to remember how it felt to be a kid at Lakemont (too) many years ago. I
loved remembering past summers, and I loved reconnecting with such special old
friends. Thank you thank you thank you!
Love,
Ellen Anderson Jimerson

Dear Lynn,
You did an amazing job
planning and organizing the LMPHOA 45th year Reunion last week-end. From
Friday to Sunday, the facility and events were planned for maximum fun at
reasonable cost. It was great to see old friends and meet new folks. I
especially enjoyed seeing how the Comer and Crone sisters had grown from
little girls into wonderful women; Steve Hendricks at the kitchen sink washing
all the dishes Friday night; and catching up with Ellen Anderson Jimerson.
Anyone who has ever worked
on a project such as this knows how much hard work it takes to be successful.
You made it look effortless.
With thanks and regards,
Ludene Murphree

Hi Lynn,
I must admit the reunion
was one of the highlights of my life.
Thanks to you, memories
were once again remembered and made. I cannot tell you when I have
experienced such joy as I did sharing past experiences with people that made a
difference in my life years ago. Your "dream" came true for all of us as eyes
sparkled with delight seeing and hugging renewed friends. Thank you for all
of your loving efforts this past year. It was truly a grand success!
Love, Char Dunasky

Lynn:
What a great dedicated
lady you are! It was great to see you and to feel of your love to all there.
With all that you had to do, I am sure you slept for 3 days afterwards. It
was such a treat for all of us that attended!
I and those in my family
were unable to attend the dance, and wished we could have. Rand & family, and
Cindy, and Tim and family had to leave for home early. Chris and Mom & Dad
and I spent the last few hours together just sharing our family memories, and
it was grand! But, had it not been for you and your incredible organizational
skills, our family would not have had the opportunity of getting together, so
we owe our "family reunion" all to you. Thank you so much!
I hope it won't be another
35+ years (I can't believe it has been that long) before the Lakemont
beachbums get together again. Rest up, and let's do it again before too much
longer!
Thanks again for all of
your hard work and love.
Ric Tolboe, Steven, and
all of the Tolboe, Cummings clan!

Hi Lynn,
We hope you’ve had a
chance to recover a bit after the weekend bash. We had a super time! It was
such a treat to see old friends and share stories from the “old days”, as well
as make some new friends. Thanks again for making it all possible and so
enjoyable. You thought of every detail and the whole event was expertly
executed. We send you kudos and sincere thanks.
Best,
Courtney Murphree & Mike

Lynn,
You did an amazing job
with the reunion! We had a great time. All the time and energy you put into
it was truly appreciated by everyone and because of you, people have
reconnected with each other and that's a great thing! Thank you so much for
everything and if you decide to do another reunion let me know if I can help
in any way.
I enjoyed meeting you
too!

You are truley awsome. If
you had not done this, we would not have seen any of our special friends.
Your a great lady. Thanks again.

It was nice of you all to
include us lowly lifeguards in the reunion and wonderful to see all of you
again. After spending the weekend there it felt like not so many years could
possibly have gone by. For me, Lakemont and the friends we made there during
my two summers (70 and 71) will always be one of my favorite memories.
Debby, Clare and I had so much fun this past weekend swimming across the
lake, playing games, dancing and mostly just catching up with all of you. I
look forward to our next reunion or any time we can meet up again. Call,
email, or visit anytime!

Hi Lynn:
Received your email. You
are the one that is to be thanked . I hope that the weekend was exactly as you
envisioned so many months ago. Everything was flawless due to your attention
to detail. As I sat and watched all of you who had spent summers growing up
together at the lake, I could feel the connection and bond that you had with
each other. Truly heartwarming. The Board needs a person with your energy and
direction. Hope that you stay involved. Thanks for allowing me to take a part
in the production. Bravo!
